Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of brownaccounting.co and any related Brown Accounting landing page (collectively, the "Site"), operated by Brown Accounting, a CPA-led accounting practice founded by Alex Brown, CPA (License #27522-1, State of Wisconsin). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
No professional relationship is formed by using this Site. Visiting the Site, scheduling a discovery call, or exchanging emails with us does not create an accountant-client relationship. That relationship begins only once a signed engagement letter is in place.
Informational Purposes Only
Content on the Site — including service descriptions, pricing, and any commentary on accounting, trust compliance, or financial topics — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for personalized accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and should not be relied upon as such. Every business and firm's situation is different; nothing on this Site should be treated as advice applicable to your specific circumstances.
No Guarantee of Results
Any figures, examples, or outcomes referenced on the Site are illustrative only. Past results, sample dashboards, or general statements about profitability or compliance do not guarantee any particular result for your business.
Scheduling & Third-Party Tools
Discovery calls are scheduled through Calendly, a third-party service. Your use of Calendly is subject to Calendly's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party tools linked from the Site.
Intellectual Property
The Brown Accounting name, logo, and all content, text, and design elements on the Site are the property of Brown Accounting unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brown Accounting is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
